Volunteer Opportunities:
- We will be walking to Park 96 on Wednesday April 18 after lunch (around 12:30) to do an Earth Day clean up. We would love to have 2 volunteers join us. Please email Yassmeen if you are able to come ([email protected]). Thank you!
- We will be having Scientists in School in our classroom for the morning of Friday April 27 for the program, Structures Under Construction. We are looking for 3 volunteers for that morning. Please e-mail me if you are able to join us. Thank you!
- We would gratefully welcome help with the publishing stage of our Grade One Family Traditions cookbook. Please email me if you are interested in coming in to help assemble and coil-bind books. Thanks!
- We would love to welcome morning literacy volunteers into our classroom from 8:00 to 8:30 each morning. If there is one morning a week that works for you, wonderful, but drop-ins are always welcome, too! Just let me know the day before, please. This role will involve helping to create sight word rings, as well as reading one-on-one with students
Student Led Conferences

Conferences will be held on Thursday April 19th from 3:30 – 7:30pm and Friday April 20th from 8:00-9:00am. Conferences will be in half hour blocks, allowing you and your child 30 minutes to share their work in the classroom with 2 other families present.
