Today We:
-Searched for the punctuation and capitals in Living or Nonliving?
-Had our Resident Artist, Mike Grills in to help us begin a special art project! We learned about the creative process of creating a character and how it takes multiple copies and attempts before an artist comes to their final design.
-Began reading The Spiderwick Chronicles.
-Worked on writing an acrostic poem. Some letters were easier then others! Lots of us got stumped on the letter O!
-Measuring our plants and using alternate forms of measurement. We used our cuisenaire rods, snap cubes and looked for objects of the same size within our classroom.
