Our Words of the week are:
bike, like, here, hope, made, make, take, use, peace
All of these words contain the "super E" . Can your child tell you how the Super E changes words? Please practice these a little each night. It is most important that they can be recognized by sight to read them. Once your child can read them please practice spelling them. This can be done through body spelling, chanting, making the words with play dough, drawing the words in sand and so many other fun ways! Please continue to review the Super E by watching Super/Magic E videos under word work on the blog.
Today we:
-had a wonderful day at Fort Calgary with an Elder, Randy Bottle. We learned to speak many words in blackfoot, listened to a blackfoot legend and learned all about what treaty 7 was and why it is important in Canadian history.
