Very Important-PoWer Hour forms came home today with all students. Please check out this link and send back your child's top three choices by Monday if possible! powerhourpow.weebly.com/grade-1---6-courses.html
Highlights of the Day:
-We read our poems in our poetry books. These have come home with all students this weekend. Please have your child read the poems to you or be detectives and search the poems for the words of the week that we have learned in the past two weeks! Please be sure to return these books on Monday!
-We had our first Friday Dance Party! It was so much fun!
-We read the book "How to Fill a Bucket-For Kids" and discussed how everyone has an invisible bucket and all people can help to fill each others buckets but also can empty the buckets. Ask how we can fill or empty a bucket? We did a bucket filling activity and I was so impressed with what kind and thoughtful children are in the room and how amazing they were at filling each other's buckets!
-We had French. Be sure to check out all of the fun games and videos on Madame Pallesen's blog when you have a chance.
-We worked on our special collage sketch book covers. They covers turned out so well and really demonstrates what is special to each child!
In Mail Pockets:
Two Terry Fox Day notices (all students)
