Our Words of the week are: by, try, really, very, happy, funny, many
we will be exploring y endings on words all week. Please watch the videos under the word work session and practice these words a little bit each night. Please remember that the main priority is on learning to read these words by sight and once your child becomes confident with this they can practice spelling them!
Today We:
-had literacy stations.
-did a sound hunt where we searched for and wrote down words with y endings.
-continued to practice our addition facts by counting on 2 from a number.
-had gymnastics.
-had a practice for our Wangari Musical.
-had music.
-had library.
-put our sensory observations from yesterdays ridge walk into writing in our journals. We worked really hard to add adjectives and sensory imagery into this writing!
Please and Thank you:
-a huge thank you to Rebecca's mom for coming in for reading support today.
