-Students wrote in their journals using our sight words to create interview questions for me. I'll be writing back to them this week!
-Introduced our new poem, All About Me! It is a longer poem so we did some small group practicing.
-We continued reading The Spiderwick Chronicles. Our main character, Jared discovered a mysterious poem and is trying to find out what it means.
-Continued working on creating our art for our project with our resident artist, Mike Grills. He will be back in our class on Tuesday to collect our art and give feedback, so we are working to complete our characters.
-Had PoWer hour

Field trip forms for Fish Creek will be sent home this week. We don't have any volunteers for this field trip yet. If your able to attend please let me know!

May 24th Fish Creek Field Trip, will need 5 volunteers for this field trip.
On June 1st, the grade 1's will be doing a spring visit to Grow Calgary. We need 5 volunteers for this field trip.
The June 14th Urban Community Tour will be a trip downtown to explore Calgary's history and landmarks.
