This week we have One World Drumming in for a Drumming Residency in all grade 1, 2 and 4 classrooms! We will be having a sharing assembly for drumming this Friday March 9 from 8-8:45am! All parents are welcome to attend!
OurWords of the week are:
high, sight, night, right, write and kite
Can your child tell you the sounds made by igh and ite?" Does he/she remember the difference between write and right? When is each one used?
Today we:
-started a new round of literacy centers.
-did a science experiment about feeling, where we felt different objects without looking at them and explained how we would describe it to someone else, what memories they created, and what we thought each object was. T
-started drawing pictures to help us remember our doubles facts.
-had our second drumming time.
-had music with Mrs. Dennill.
