Highlight of the Day
-I liked art because we learned how to draw sharks using different shapes!
- really liked learning more about shapes, like how many sides and corners they have. Ask me what the difference between a square and rectangle is!
-I really liked gym because we had different stations, especially the balancing challenge!
Reminders**
- We will be going on a walking field trip to Fish Creek Park on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 13! We will be meeting a local entomologist who is working with Friends of Fish Creek to explore how ants help the plant life in Fish Creek Park. Please email Yassmeen ([email protected]) if you are able to volunteer on this learning experience.
- As the year comes to an end, our last book exchange will be May 30th. All books need to be returned to the library by June 6th. If you have any library books at home please make sure that all library books are returned by this time.
Words of the Week
Each week we will focus on a set of high frequency words that we are using in our poems and morning message. Feel free to practice these and look for them in your own books! For the remainder of the year we will be reviewing all sight words and sound chunks we have explored already.
