Today We:
- finished reading Pirates Past Noon! In the book we finally discovered the identify of the mysterious M character!
-searched our Birds of Prey poem for punctuation.
-began our agamograph art project, which involves using an image of a city and a rural setting to create an optical illusion!
-visited the library to exchange our books.
-continued working with our cusenaire rods with our PoWer market.
-Played Walk the Plank, a game that helps us practice our math facts for doubles and near doubles.
-Read the story "Ma, I'm a farmer" to look at how the book portrayed rural and urban living.
-Completed our venn diagrams we started yesterday.

We are still in need of some volunteers to help us with a couple upcoming field trips!
Our May 4th Ridge walk is an opportunity for students to observe the seasonal changes.
The June 14th Urban Community Tour will be a trip downtown to explore Calgary's history and landmarks.
