Highlights:
-Today in math, we practiced flipping equations, in a game called Math headstands. Every time a group flipped an equation they got a cube to build a tower. Teams tried to build the biggest tower before the timer went off.
-In Physical Education, we started working on our basketball shooting skills. Working on proper hand placement, the follow through with our hand and aiming.
-Our Musical Theater group performed after lunch, they did a great job! I'm sure they will wow the parents at the Volunteer Tea tomorrow.
-We went on a word hunt for /wh/ words
-Reviewed our field trip highlights and began discussing how all the living things are connected and need each other to survive.

On Thursday June 1st, the grade 1's will be doing a spring visit to Grow Calgary. We still need 4 volunteers for this field trip. Please let myself or Leanne know if your able to attend!
The June 14th Urban Community Tour will be a trip downtown to explore Calgary's history and landmarks. We still need volunteers for this field trip!
If you would like to order scholastic, they will be sent under my name, Mrs. Kaileen Hamilton. Please send in orders by June 12th, Thanks!
