Highlights of today
-I liked power hour because, I got to build a shelter with my group.
-I liked working on our Venn Diagram on past and present, it was fun to cut and glue everything together!
-I liked music because, we turned itsy bitsy spider into a rap!
-My favorite part of today was reading with Mrs. Hammadieh
Our litter clean up walk to Park 96 has been rescheduled to Wednesday May 23rd at 12:30 PM. Please send your child with appropriate clothing and footwear for the day. Your child should also be wearing sunscreen and a hat! Please send your child with gardening gloves. Thanks!

Words of the Week
From now until the end of the year, we will be practicing all of the sound chunks that we have learned throughout the year. You can review these at home by playing games, reading, flash cards, etc.

Volunteer Opportunities:
- We would love to welcome morning literacy volunteers into our classroom from 8:00 to 8:30 each morning. If there is one morning a week that works for you, wonderful, but drop-ins are always welcome, too! Just let me know the day before, please. This role will involve helping to create sight word rings, as well as reading one-on-one with students
