Reminder:
Ridge walk tomorrow, please dress your child for the weather and in comfortable shoes that are good for walking in.
Please send your child with a sturdy bag on Friday June 23rd to help them take home learning materials.
Lost & Found is on display in the main hallway. Will visit as a class this week as well to check for lost items.
Highlights:
-In literacy, we had a scrambled phrase that we used to create words. The mystery phrase today was "Lemonade stand". Lots of students were able to figure it out!
-We did a bit more writing for our Iris video tomorrow, so everyone has something to say and share.
-In math, we had a 2D and 3D shape hunt in our classroom. Students did a great job looking for objects that fit the criteria. We used pattern blocks to create a shape and identified how many vertices and sides our shapes had.
-During snack, we read Wumbers which uses numbers to create words, for example "L8er allig8or!".
-In Physical Education, we played Frogger again. Lots of students were using good strategies to increase their speed and work together!
-To prepare for our Summer Ridge Walk we made predictions and made an observation page in our visual journals.
