Library tomorrow! Please remember your books!
Litter Clean-Up Tomorrow!
We are looking forward to helping the animals and environment in our community with our pre-Earth Day Litter Cleanup! We will provide bags and litter sticks, but ask that students come in comfortable clothes that are okay to get messy that day. If you have gardening gloves to send, that would be great! Thank you!
Today we:
-did a problem for our PoWer Market where we found out how much it would cost to make a fruit salad.
-practiced our doubles facts, with a dice game! We will be extending our knowledge of doubles by trying to find out doubles + or - 1.
-Learned a new song called "Rocking with the 3 R's" about Reducing, reusing and recycling and read Uno's Garden to better understand how we can help protect the earth.
-Started creating PSA posters to educate others on how we can help the earth.
Our Words of the week are: how, out, our, house, down, now, round, found- we are exploring the "pinchy sounds"
Please and Thank you
-a huge thank you to Connor's mom for coming in for home reading
-brown notice from Parent council
